“El real casino” of Murcia hold last Tuesday the 2016 edition of Carrefour awards for best SME and the most Innovative enterprise of Murcia.
The most innovative Enterprise was chosen by Carrefour clients, who visit different supermarkets of Murcia and finally decided to give the award to Postres Reina.
Postres Reina is situated in Caravaca de la Cruz, its beginnings date back to 1926. Postres Reina has been manufacturing dairy desserts since the 70`s.
The Company keeps a strong commitment towards innovation, together with the principles of quality and tradition. Those goals have turned Postres Reina into the biggest manufacturing desserts company in Spain, and have situated Postres Reina among the most preferred brands by Spanish consumers.
Alfonso López Rueda, the President of the Group, said “the distinction is the clue. The only way that consumers will chose our products is to give them something that competitors cannot provide. Innovation is in our DNA and it is not a simple activity, it is part of our attitude”.
A good example of the innovative spirit of Postres Reina is some of its last products launches. In the mid of 2016, Postres Reina started in two new categories: Reina yoghurt Greek style, a creamy yoghurt with original flavors, available in 2 and 4 packs with eight references ( four of them 0% fat). And Reina creamy Bifidus, with six references ( three of them 0% fat).
Furthermore, Postres Reina has launches new desserts such us: two different pannacottas, raspberry and caramel, in a two unit pack, EntreHoras yoghurt rich in proteins 0% fat, to have a healthy snack at any time of the day. Custard with small biscuits and custard with chocoballs, in a flip format, for young and adult’s consumers.
In the next months, Postres Reina will launch new products of its healthy desserts range, Reina ekilibrio.
